hindi po ako sure! pero sa pagkakaalam ko high protein diet ay hindi dapat sa dogs with minimal activities kasi masisira yung coat nila.

i believe the same principle holds true with dogs at different life stages and level of activity. vets and dog nutritionists have already made extensive studies about the right food for our pitbulls/ working dos in general. i dont believe our beloved pits will be different. puppy dog fud for pups. performance dog fud for pits with athletic actgivities. maintenence for pits that have mild to moderate activities. i believe in giving suoolements if the pits are still pups and those that are still very active.

tama yun.kaya ako i followed Ch.Britney's adv.sawdust.kasi if you'll look at the composition of most dog foods, onti lng meat and all EXTENDERS.[chicken by products, corn something].effective.2 days p lng me gamit ng sawdust and iba na talaga appetite ng pit ko.try it bro and i'm sure you're pit will get the most out of it.hope i was able to help u out.

tthe safest is to use the top of the line dogfoods available in the maRKET TODAY. all of them use meat as meal and not byproducts of the meat. if it is chicken, then they use chicken meat that has been dried and no intestines etc. we can't do away with dogfood because its practical and already nutritionally tailored to our dogs depending on the age and level of activity. also, the stool odor is less and the stool volume also less. matigas ang stools kaya madaling linisin ang kennel. i usually give them meat na freshly cooked with no salt added--- beef chunks, ox liver, chicken breasts, pork once in a whilke cooked sa pressure cooker. add rice na lang with the delicious broth kaya ma-aaddict ang iyong dog. i also give milk, powdered to my dogs up to the age of one year at least. if milk is good for us, its also good for the dogs. its the food that sustained life sa mga babies di ba? yung pagtatae ng dog mangyayari if its not accustomed to milk. pareho din ng tao yan. with their milk i add wheat germ and instant quacker oats to make it more tasty. my dogs are more than 2 years pero ok lang milk sa kanila at least 3x a week. very healthy talaga ang dogs mo nyan.
mainstay talaga will be dog food pero dapat high quality dogfood. gastos lang pero maganda result.
hard boiledc eggs ok din maski na 1-2x a week. the white part is 80% protein of high biological value. the yolk (pula) is cholesterol which is vary good for growing pits because of their still developing brain and nervous system. yung brain and nerves ng mammals is made up of cholesterol. kaya ok naman ang eggs basta not daily for pits. lahat halos ng hormones ng dogs natin ay cholesterol base.

comment naman po about this, may nabasa po kasi akong article na meat protein and other high protein diets can cause liver diseases and cancer for our pits... looking forward for your reply... Mali, Meat protein are excellent for all dogs, because they are carnivours, comapre it to plant protein which is inferior to meat protein. there are some dogs allergic to specific meat protein. High protein diets cannot cause liver damage.
